Trish was born and raised in Palmerston, Ontario (a small country community in the Northern part of Wellington County), but fell in love with Guelph while completing her post-secondary schooling. She studied and received her Bachelor's Degree in Management Economics in 1987 from the University of Guelph as well as completing the Canadian Securities Course in 1994. Her initial interest was in finance but was introduced to real estate while taking housing courses as her electives.
