About Me

Trish Schreiber Bio

Trish Schreiber has been a fixture on the Guelph Real Estate Market since 1989.  Her love for people and her passion for her craft are what drives her.

Trish was born and raised in Palmerston, Ontario (a small country community in the Northern part of Wellington County), but fell in love with Guelph while completing her post-secondary schooling.  She studied and received her Bachelor's Degree in Management Economics in 1987 from the University of Guelph as well as completing the Canadian Securities Course in 1994.  Her initial interest was in finance but was introduced to real estate while taking housing courses as her electives.  During her University years, Trish worked for the Township of Minto as their assistant clerk treasurer and then went on to work for Dowling Spears in Harriston as the Assistant Manager.

With encouragement from friends and strangers to pursue sales, Trish decided to complete the Real Estate Courses and quickly knew that the Real Estate industry was where she was meant to work.

This is not only evident from the strong base of loyal and repeat clients but Trishs’ recognition comes also from the numerous sales awards she has received since her first year, including receiving Top Tier Status in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 which is given to Royal LePage Realtors who achieve Director's Platinum or higher in the previous award year.  She is also proud of achieving the Royal LePage Diamond Award, which represents Realtors in the top 3% of Ontario - most recently achieved in 2023!

The University of Guelph’s Real Estate and Housing Degree Program, (one of only two Universities in Canada that offer a real estate program) invited Trish to be a guest speaker in 1994 when the program was first incepted and she has continued to speak to first year students relaying tips for first time buyers on qualifying for a mortgage, providing local real estate industry statistics and sharing real life strategies for sales.  Over the years, Trish has become a mentor to a number of students in that program.

Due to Trish's expert selling strategies and exceptional negotiation skills clients have experienced above average industry results.  Trish’s clients can always expect a kind and pleasant demeanor, a friendly smile and positive outlook.  She takes the stress out of any transaction for her clients.
